Five day track for Kilo (Central Pacific Hurricane Center) |
The Central Pacific Hurricane Center forecasts that Kilo will gradually strengthen over the next couple of days and become a tropical storm once again by Saturday night.
Kilo is moving toward the west near 16 MPH and the motion is expected to continue through Saturday.
"Given this forecast track," the hurricane center said, "interests in the Hawaiian islands should monitor the progress of Kilo."

At 11:00 PM HST, the center of Tropical Depression Kilo was located at 13.3N 156.5W.
