Heavy rain and floods brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) in Luzon, Philippines have claimed lives of at least 19 people, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Wednesday.
According to NDRRMC, eight people have been still missing in Ilocos, Central Luzon, and Mimaropa.

At least 18 houses were destroyed while 68 were damaged in Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Riza, Abra, Benguet, and Kalinga provinces, GMA Network reported.
