Flash floods kill 8 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan — Dozens rescued

Flash floods triggered by heavy monsoon rains have claimed lives of at least eight people in different areas of Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

At least 16 people have been rescued after floodwaters swept them away, DAWN reported quoting the government run emergency service.

Terrified residents were seen sitting on roofs as floodwaters surged through the streets in localities of Rawalpindi.
