Rautahat volcanic eruption rumor panics Nepal

A false news claiming volcanic eruption in Rautahat, the terai region of Nepal has panicked people today.

The volcanic eruption news is false and just muddy water was ejected from small holes of the ground, The Annapurna Post has written quoting District Police Office, Rautahat.
जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रौतहटका प्रहरी प्रमुख सानुबाबु थपलियाले ज्वालामुखी निस्केको नभइ गौरको एक घरभित्र मुसाले बनाएको सानो प्वाँलबाट थोरै हिलो माटो निस्केको जानकारी दिए ।

Dozens of rumors have been spreading in Nepal after a massive earthquake of magnitude 7.9 rattled the country on April 25, 2015. Earlier too, messages spread about the volcanic eruption in various parts of Nepal including Nuwakot, Nawalparasi and Nijgadh. After that, Nepal Seismological Center received question asking if the moon was inverted.

This is not the first time such messages have been circulated. Often during the major quakes, the fearful minds are panicked by such rumors in different parts of the world. There is no any possibility of volcanic eruption in Nepal.
