Flash floods in Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas has claimed life of a person.
The eight-hour downpour caused flood damage estimated at $42.8 million, the provincial governor said on Thursday.
Flash floods have also forced the Bandar Abbas international airport to close, Global Post has written quoting the Fars News Agency.
The downpour has however ended a year-long drought in the area.
