Mine landslide in Jambi, Indonesia kills 3; injures 3

A landslide that hit Limun in Sorolangun district, Jambi has claimed lives of at least three people and injured three others Thursday evening.

Heavy rainfall triggered the landslide disaster when they were conducting illegal mining activities in the district, The Jakarta Post has written quoting Jambi Provincial Police spokesman Adj. Sr. Comr. Almansyah.

Fatalities are residents of Tambang Tinggi village.
