Light earthquake hits Nepal's Khaptad National Park

M 4.4 light earthquake shakes Far Western region of Nepal, the Nepal Seismological Survey reported.

According to the Nepal Seismological Survey, the quake's epicenter was in Khaptad National Park in Doti district of Nepal.

Following the earthquake's epicenter, it will have been well felt in western and southern buffer zone areas of the national park. However, no damage or injuries have been reported.

The Khaptad National Park is a protected area in the Far-Western Region, Nepal stretching over the four districts of Bajhang, Bajura, Achham and Doti.
