At least 52 fishermen have gone missing after a South Korean vessel sank in the stormy Bering Sea.
The Oryong 501 vessel owned by the South Korean fisheries firm Sajo Industries was carrying 35 Indonesians, 13 Philippine nationals, 11 South Koreans and one Russian inspector.
The search operation by four ships in the remote area off the east coast of Russia has been hampered by the severe weather and rough seas, Voice of Russia (VOA) has reported quoting the South Korean Officials.
One body has been recovered and seven crew members have been rescued so far. The South Korean trawler was carrying 60 crew members.
