M 7.0 earthquake hits Indonesia – No Tsunami threat

M 7.0 strong earthquake shakes Indonesia today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 150 km NW of Kota Ternate. It was 40.4 miles deep.

No tsunami is expected from this earthquake, NWS Pacific Warning Center said.
