Earthquake in Venus, Texas shakes Alvarado

M 3.4 light earthquake shakes the area near Venus in Johnson County, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 6 km (4mi) NNW of Venus, Texas. It was 1.7 miles deep.

Earthquake was felt in Alvarado, Burleson, Venus and Mansfield.
