Massive earthquake in El Salvador kills 1

M 7.4 massive earthquake shakes El Salvador today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

First fatality has been reported from the earthquake.
There are reports of minor to moderate damage in some cities of El Salvador.
- 12 homes have been damaged in La Peña de Alegria.
- Some walls as high as 4 meters fell in San Miguel.
- The National Hospital San Juan de Dios has been damaged.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 64 km (40mi) S of Intipuca, El Salvador. It was 43.8 miles deep.

Following the USGS shaking responses, tremors were also felt in Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

No Tsunami threat mentioned at the time of writing this report.
