Serbia flooding kills 1, emergency declared in Bosnia

Flooding in Serbia has claimed life of a person and caused emergency declaration in Bosnia, BBC reported.

A man, aged 65 was drowned after floodwaters swept through his home in Banja Koviljaca, Serbia. Some homes have been evacuated in Kragujevac and Cacak region of Serbia.

Similarly, a man has been reported missing after floodwaters swept away his car in the Bosnian town of Banja Luka.

The European Commission has gathered 1.8 billion euros in relief funding for Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) flood recovery recently in order to help overcome consequences of devastating floods in May.
