Odisha flooding kills 34 – Mahanadi river affects 1M

Odisha flooding has claimed lives of atleast 34 people and affected nearly one million people in 23 districts, The Hindustan Times has written quoting the Special Disaster Relief Commissioner of Odisha.

A total of 11 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), 30 Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) teams and 184 boats have been deployed in the vulnerable areas.

Mahanadi river flooding in Odisha has affected many parts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Khurda and Puri districts, Indian Express has mentioned.
