Heavy rainfall in Rajasthan, India claims 3 lives

Heavy rainfall in Rajasthan, India has claimed lives of at least three people, Indian News medias reported.

According to the Press Trust of India, three persons have been killed in separate rain related incidents in Kota area of Rajasthan.

At least 11 people trapped in a temple near the flooded Mangali river on the Kota-Jaipur highway have been rescued.

Several places in Rajasthan received heavy rainfall with Kota recording maximum of 53.2 mm followed by Chittorgarh which received 17 mm rains till evening since morning today, NDTV mentioned.

According to NDTV India, the Met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains at isolated areas in Udaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions during the next 24 hours.
