Flash flood in Refrontolo, Italy kills 4, injures 20

Flash flood in Refrontolo, Italy has claimed lives of at least four people and injured 20 others,  Reuters said.

The disaster occurred when around 100 people were taking part in a countryside festival held under a tent in Refrontolo Saturday night.

The sudden overflowing of a stream swollen by incessant rainfalls caused flooding in the area. The overflowing was allegedly caused by the accumulation of debris, including rocks, soil and several hay bales, in a point of the stream, Xinhua has written quoting the forest management unit.
