Cambodia flooding claims 8 lives in Southern Kandal

Flooding in southern Kandal province in Cambodia has claimed lives of eight people, Xinhua News Agency reported quoting the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM).

Cambodia flooding hit seven Cambodian provinces along the Mekong River and Tonle Sap Lake.

More than 4, 000 families have been evacuated from their submerged homes to higher grounds, the National Committee for Disaster Management added.
