Flash flooding in Afghanistan kills 3, washes away hundreds of houses

Flash flooding in Afghanistan has claimed lives of at least three people, Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

Fatalities are from  Baghlan, Bamyan and Badakhshan provinces of Afghanistan.

Flash floods washed away hundreds of houses in three different provinces. Disaster relief aid have been send to the area, Pajhwok Afghan News reported quoting The Afghanistan Natural Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA).

According to the Governor of Badakhshan, more than 2,500 people were killed and more than 300 homes were buried under rocks and mud due to a landslide in northern Badakhshan province of Afghanistan some days earlier.
