Bay of Bengal earthquake shakes Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Delhi – 1 killed, 50 injured

According to the MBC TV, earthquake has claimed life of an old man and injured 50 others in Bhubaneswar. Injured people are having treatment at the Capital hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Some houses are reported to be collapsed in the area, 10 km away from Bhubaneshwar.

M  6.0 strong earthquake in Bay of Bengal shakes Kolkata, Delhi-NCR and north India.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 275 km SE of Paradip Garh. It was 24.8 miles deep.

Tremors were even felt in Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi, Cuttack, Puri, Gaya and Chennai.
