Storm in Tanzania hits dhow, 4 killed

At least four people have died after storm hit a dhow on the Indian Ocean in Rufiji District in Tanzania, The Citizen reported.

Fatalities include an infant and a teacher at Kiechuru Primary School in Rufiji.

Storm hit a ferry named MV Nyaulele owned by Unyaulele Cooperative Society at Dimani area. A total of 16 people were on the ferry.

Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) had alerted about the dangerous weather in the area.
