Mozambique lightning strikes: 4 killed, 8 injured in Zambezia

Lightning strikes in Mozambique have claimed lives of four people and injured eight others during storms, All Africa reported quoting the Beira daily paper, "Diario de Mocambique".

The lightning strikes killed people in the Chinde, Gile and Milange districts in Zambezia province of Mozambique.

According to the National Disasters Management Institute (INGC), dozen of shops and houses have been damaged in Lugela.

Heavy rainfall and flooding have washed away roads in several parts of Sofala.
