Moderate earthquake in Cali, Colombia today

M 5.3 moderate earthquake shakes Colombia today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 40 km (25mi) W of El Dovio. It was 38.1 miles deep.

People of Andes, Armenia, Bogotá, Buenavista, Cali, Envigado, Itagüí, Pereira and Vista Hermosa have reported light to weak shaking.

No damage or injuries have been reported from earthquake in Cali, Colombia today.

Santiago de Cali is the capital of the Valle del Cauca department, and the most populous city in western Colombia.
