Earthquake Hungary 2014: Magnitude 4.4 shakes Budapest

M 4.4 moderate earthquake shakes Hungary today, the Seismological Observatory of Hungary (Kövesligethy Radó Szeizmológiai Obszervatórium) reported.

The earthquake was followed by a magnitude 3.4 earthquake after 14 minutes.

Tremor was even felt in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 7 km ESE of Balassagyarmat and 66 km NNE of Budapest. It was 6.2 miles deep.

Minor damages have been reported near the epicenter. However, detail news is yet to come.
