Iran earthquake near nuclear plant kills 8, injures 210

Earthquake near Iran's nuclear plant has claimed lives of at least eight people and injured 210 others. At least 250 houses have been collapsed by the quake.

M 5.6 strong earthquake shakes Borazjan area, Iran today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 14 km NE of Borazjan.

Iran's sole nuclear power plant in Bushehr lies about 70km away from the epicenter of the earthquake. The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed that the earthquake hasn't caused damage to the Iran's nuclear plant.
