2 injured in Tochigi, Japan tornado

Tornado in Tochigi Prefecture of Japan has injured at least two people, The Japan Meteorological Agency said.

According to the Tochigi prefecture government, tornado around 12:30 pm damaged thirteen buildings.

Tornado also damaged the roof of a primary school gymnasium in Yaita. Power outages have been reported in about 600 households in the city.

A team from the Utsunomiya Local Meteorological Observatory are surveying the damage, The Japan News reported.

Three days ago, tornado in Tokyo injured 63 people.
