Strong storm hits Czech Republic, state of emergency declared

Strong storm in Czech Republic has left some ten thousand homes without power, Czech national power company said.

According to Xinhua News, the state of emergency was temporarily declared for the Central Bohemia and Pardubice regions.

Strong winds and storms first hit southern and western Bohemia and moved to Moravia.

No injuries have been reported.
