Southern Philippines landslide, flood claim 2, displace 37,000

Landslide in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines has claimed lives of at least two people, police and emergency workers said.

Landslide hit the children, a 6-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy in Zamboanga City.

Floods in Mindanao have displaced as many as 37,000 people, Philippine Daily Inquirer has written quoting the civil defense office.

Dozen flights to and from Cagayan de Oro City have been cancelled due to bad weather.
