Norway landslide: 500 residents isolated

Over 500 residents have been isolated after landslide blocked the only road linking to a Norwegian village.

Landslide has disconnected the road liking to Todalen in Nordmøre, central Norway.

Norway landslide has also downed power poles and disturbed communication lines between Surnadal and Sunndal, Norway news reported.

Several tourists are also beleived to be trapped in the landslide area.

No injury has been reported.

Worst flooding since 1995 hit Norway in May 2013.

The 2005 Norway landslide (also Hatlestad Slide) had claimed lives of three people.
