Kittitas county wildfire causes evacuation of 75 homes

Kittitas County wildfire has caused the evacuation of residents of about 75 homes and cabins.

Wildfire is burning across 93 square miles of grass, sagebrush and timber in Chelan and Kittitas counties, The Columbian reported.

Fire danger is expected to remain high in Eastern Washington through Thursday.

About 370 firefighters are struggling to control the Kittitas county wildfire. Kittitas County wildfire is 8 percent contained.
