Kerala landslide kills 9, emergency cabinet meeting called

Landslide triggered by heavy downpour in Kerala, India has claimed lives of at least nine people, local medias reported.

An emergency cabinet meeting has been called by the CM to review the situation and start the disaster relief operations.

Landslide occurred in Chiyyapara on Adimaly - Munnar route in Idukki district of Kerala.

The Cochin International Airport was temporary closed.
