Tornadoes hit Antigua, storm damage assessments underway

Tropical storm Chantal has caused several tornadoes and waterspouts in Antigua.

Tornadoes have uprooted trees, downed power lines and damaged several buildings and vehicles.

Tornado damage has also been reported at Camp Blizzard army base and the Jumby Bay Resort.

No injury has been reported. Storm damage assessments are underway, Antigua & Barbuda disaster management official said.
