Storms in Ontario and Quebec region of Central Canada have claimed life of a woman and injured two others, CBC News Canada reported.
A 21-year-old woman was struck by a falling tree branch at pool in Boucherville, Quebec. Others two were also injured including a a 6-year-old boy.

Environment Canada has confirmed a tornado at Manitoba First Nation Thursday night. Following Environment Canada’s storm survey team, it was likely an EFO OR EF1 tornado which damaged five houses at Sioux Valley First Nation.
A joint report published by Public Safety Canada in collaboration the Canadian Red Cross, Environment Canada, Natural Resources Canada, and St. John Ambulance have found that thunderstorms and lightning storms in Canada claim lives of at least 10 people each year.
