About 500 lightning strikes in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho

About 500 lightning strikes hit Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho overnight.

Trace of rains have been recorded with thunderstorms relatively high above 10,000 feet, Komo News reported.

There are no wildfires reports from the dry lightning.

However, Red Flag Warnings and Fire Weather Watches continues for areas in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, California, and Nevada. A Red Flag Warning is the highest wildfire alert.

A wildfire in mountains west of Palm Springs, California has burned at least seven houses and about a half-dozen vehicles.
