7 killed, 6 missing in Nepal landslides

Landslides across Nepal have claimed  lives of at least seven people and injured six others in last 24 hours.

Landslide disasters have been reported in Palpa, Myagdi, Syangja and Dolakha districts of Nepal.

Three persons, including two children died in landslide in Palpa. Rain triggered natural calamities hit Khanichap-7, Aamdanda area of Palpa district.

Landslides in Myagdi and Syangja claimed two lives each. At least six people are reported missing in Dolakha and Syangja, Nepal News has reported quoting districts Police.

Five of a family have gone missing in Dolakha landslide.

Similarly hundreds of houses have been inundated in Nawalparasi district due to flood waters, The Himalayan Times said.
