2 missing in mudslides, floods in western Japan

At least two people are missing in rain triggered natural calamities in Shimane and Yamaguchi prefectures of western Japan.

Heavy rainfall on Sunday morning flooded several houses and roads in the city of Yamaguchi.

Japan Meteorological Agency has predicted thunderstorms in Tohoku region overnight. Similarly parts of Chugoku are expected to get up to 120 mm of rain by Monday evening, The Japan Times reported.
