Tornado hits Waikato, New Zealand

A tornado touched down for 10 minutes in Waikato region of New Zealand.

According to The New Zealand Herald, Waikato tornado was at the lowest end of the scale and didn't cause any damage.

No tornadoes were forecast today by the weather officials.

Heavy rainfall has also caused flooding north of Wellington today. Emergency officials have received several calls of landslips on Airlie Rd, Plimmerton.
