Malaysia storm kills 2, more than 100 houses destroyed in Seberang Perai

At least two people died and five other were injured in storm in Penang, Malaysia.

A 24m-high telecommunication antenna fell due to storm and damaged around eight vehicles. Injured people are having treatment at Penang Hospital.

Malaysia Meteorological Department had forecast strong winds up to 50 km/hr in the state.

Storm cleanup was immediately started by Penang Island Municipal Council workers.

Similarly thunderstorm has damaged more than 100 houses in Seberang Perai Utara, SP Tengah and SP Selatan area, The Sun Daily has reported.
