Landslide en route Vaishno Devi, India kills 1

Landslide triggered by heavy rainfall en route Mata Vaishno Devi, India has claimed life of one woman pilgrim.

A woman from Subhash Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh was hit by landslide near Panchi Morh in Sanjichat area. She fell into 200 feet deep gorge after being hit by landslide.

Shrine Board officials and police personnel have shifted the body to the Katra hospital.

Vaishno Devi yatra has been suspended from new track due to landslide.

Vaishno Devi Mandir is the famous religious shrine in India located at an altitude of 5300 feet.
