  • Heat wave in Odisha, India
    -Intense heat has claimed lives of at least three people in Odisha, India.
    -Met Office has recorded temperature over 46 degree Celsius in several parts of Odisha.

  • Hailstorm in Poland
    -Hailstorm in Radom, Poland has damaged more than 50 houses.

  • M 5.8 moderate earthquake in Peru (@ 82 km depth) with epicenter located 45km SW of Anta. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Pucyura, Progreso, Turpay, Cachimayo, Yaurisque, Limatambo, Cusco, Abancay and Santa Ana. People of Sicuani and Ayacucho will have felt weak shaking of MMI III.

  • M 3.5 light shallow earthquake in Bosnia and Herzegovina (@ 12 km depth) with epicenter located 20km ESE of Gacko. It will have well felt by the people of Bileca, Foca, Niksic and Podgorica (Montenegro).

  • M 2.7 weak shallow earthquake in Canada (@ 14 km depth) with epicenter located 7km WSW of Hudson. It will have well felt by the people of Saint-Lazare, Les Coteaux and Vaudreuil-Dorion.

  • M 4.6 moderate deep earthquake in Mexico (@ 167 km depth) with epicenter located 21km WNW of Chicomuselo. Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Frontera Comalapa, Comitan de Dominguez and Venustiano Carranza.

  • Flooding along Kawasoti-Narayangarh Road, Nepal

  • Flash flooding in Columbia, South Carolina
    -Heavy rainfall caused flash flooding in Columbia, state of South Carolina.
    -Rainfall also flooded Gervais and Harden Street.


Recent Volcanic Activity
  • Costa Rica/Turrialba recent volcanic activity
    -
    Following  Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (Ovsicori), Turrialba Volcano spewed gas and ash from two crater openings at 5:00 a.m Tuesday morning.
    -Ash fall was also reported in Cartago, San José, Heredia and Limón.

    Waterspouts and funnel clouds hit Auckland coast.

  • Oklahoma City Medical Examiner's Office has received 24 bodies of tornado victims. US President Obama has declared major disaster in Oklahoma after devastating tornado. Oklahoma tornado 2013 is expected to be the costliest U.S. natural disaster this year.
