Floods in Khost, Afghanistan claim 2

Recent floods in southeast Khost province of Afghanistan have claimed lives of two people, Pajhwok Afghan News reports.

Following the Afghanistan Natural Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), flooding claimed lives of a 10 years old girl and an elder man.

Floods damaged thousands of acres of farmland too.

Floods have severely affected Gurbaz, Tanai, Ismailkhel and Zazai Maidan districts of Afghanistan.

Flooding in Balkh, Afghanistan claimed 13 in April 2013.
