Flash flood in Kenya's Migori kills 10

Flash floods in Kenya's Migori county have killed at least 10 people, Kenya based The Star reports.
Flash floods washed away bridges on rivers Nyasare and Onyinjo.

Following Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), flash floods in Kenya since March have claimed 90 lives and displaced more than 100,000 others.

Red Cross officials have suggest the government to declare flooding a national disaster in some of the counties so as to increase the flood emergency relief.

The 2007 floods of Africa, one of the worst floodings in recorded history, claimed 12 lives in Kenya alone.
