Trinidad and Tobago tropical storm rumors false

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has advised people not to run behind the rumors of tropical storm approaching Trinidad and Tobago.

On a media release on April 29, 2013 at 10:00 p.m, T&T Meteorological Service has officially claimed this.

T&T Meteorological Service notice says that RUMOURS circulating about a tropical storm approaching Trinidad and Tobago are NOT true. The Met Office has also urged to ignore bbm/textmessages that may be circulating.

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has discontinued the flood alert in their latest bulletin at 6:00 pm.

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) has said to stay tuned to the official ODPM facebook, twitter and website for official information and contact 511 to report any flooding events.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO IS NOT UNDER ANY TROPICAL STORM THREAT, WATCH OR WARNING.
