Landslide in Tongxin county of China claims 5

Landslide in Tongxin County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of China has claimed lives of at least five people and injured two others.

Landslide disaster occurred at 9:27 am Thursday morning when villagers were digging hill for a kind of fossil used as traditional Chinese medicine, China Daily reports.

Injured people are having treatment at a local hospital in Ningxia.

Flash floods in Ningxia Hui, China in August 2012 claimed lives of six tourists.
