Landslide in Ecuador buries 14

Landslide in Ecuador has buried at least 14 people, Xinhua news agency reports.

Landslide occurred in Tabete in the Chinca district of Esmeraldas, a coastal province in Ecuador.

Ecuador landslide covered an area of 300 square meters.

Heavy rainfall caused landslide in the area. Landslide in Ecuador in 1993 (Nambija mine disaster) claimed lives of about 300 people.
