  • Landslide in West Bandung, Indonesia
    -
    Landslide in west Bandung region of Indonesia has claimed six lives. Still 18 villagers are reported to be missing.

  • M 6.2 strong deep earthquake in Guatemala (@ 201 km depth) with epicenter located 6 km NNW of San Jose Pinula. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Iztapa, Salama, Monjas, Guatemala City, Amatitlan, San Raimundo, Chimaltenango, Jalapa, Antigua Guatemala, Tapachula, Santa Cruz del Quiche, Coban and Escuintla.   • M 4.5 moderate earthquake in Crete, Greece (@ 82 km depth) with epicenter located 19 km N of Panormos. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Gázion, Iráklion, Rethymnon and Nea Alikarnassos.

    Heavy rainfall has caused flooding in Dar city of Tanzania. The worst hit area is Kigogo.
    -The rain also destroyed a bridge in Kinyerezi and Vingunguti each.
