  • Rainstorm in Tamale, Ghana
    -
    Rainstorm in Tamale region of Ghana has claimed one life.
    -Flash floods destroyed at least one hundred houses.
  • Wildfire in Colorado, United States
    -
    Wildfire in Colorado has burned more than 800 acres.
    -Fire which started west of Fort Collins is burning outside Lory State Park northwest of Fort Collins, the Larimer County.
    -This wildfire was previously named as the Soldier Canyon Fire; now as the Galena Fire.

Recent Earthquakes 
  • M 4.7 moderate earthquake in near the East Coast of Honshu, Japan (@ 46 km depth) with epicenter located 23 km E of Miyako. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Yamada, Otsuchi and Kamaishi.

  • M 3.3 light shallow earthquake in Central California with epicenter located 21 km ESE from Markleeville. It will have well felt by the people of Alpine Village, Mesa Vista and South Lake Tahoe.
