Mudslide in Ipoh, Malaysia- March 1, 2013

Heavy rainfall has caused huge mudslide in Taman Kledang Permai in Ipoh, Malaysia. Mudslide has also blocked Ipoh-Lumut highway.

Heavy rainfall has caused huge mudslide in Taman Kledang Permai in Ipoh, Malaysia. Mudslide has also blocked Ipoh-Lumut highway.

Mudslide disaster occurred around 4am on Friday. Following Malaysian newspaper, The Star, mudslide washed away at least three cars and has affected 250 residents in Taman Kledang Permai and Taman Arkid area.

Ipoh City Council's staffs are currently (around 10 am) cleaning the debris (Photo: New Straits Times, Malaysia).
