Landslide in Faial da Terra, Portugal claims 3 lives

A landslide at a Portuguese Faial da Terra, Sao Miguel Islands has claimed three lives and destroyed three houses.

-Death toll from landslide on the island of São Miguel in the Azores has risen to three. Father (earlier mentioned) and two brothers in another house collapse have died.

A landslide in Portugal has claimed two lives. Landslide occurred in the village of Faial da Terra on Sao Miguel Island (Azores Islands).

Firefighters rescued three children aged 5, eight and 16 and their mother from the mud landslide. Father died in the disaster.

Landslide in Azores destroyed at least three houses. Rescue teams are searching for a person aged 30 who is reported to be missing.

Heavy rainfall caused landslide in Portugal. The Azores island is currently under the orange emergency warning.
