Landslide in Nepal kills 8 including 5 of a family

Landslide disaster in Badki VDC of Jumla, Nepal has killed eight people. Five among the eight are members of same family.

-Landslide in Jumla injured four people. They are currently having treatment at Karnali health sciences academy and teaching hospital (KHSATH), Jumla.
-Among the victims, two are children of 5 and 13 years old.
-Families of each disaster victim will be given Rs 40,000 by district disaster relief committee of Jumla.

At least eight people have died in landslide in Mofala of Sinja region in Jumla, Nepal. Landslide collapsed a house killing eight, including five members of same family.

Local people rescued two others from the landslide zone.

Two among the fatalities are the SLC examinees.

Nepal is prone to natural disasters.
Due to complex land topography, the emergency and disaster management services are not so much effective.
