Forest fire in San Luis Potosi region of Mexico has killed a woman of 55 years old. Multiples forest fires have burned 2,500 hectares and displaced more than 400 people.
Forest fire in San Luis Potosi, commonly called SLP or simply San Luis in Mexico has killed a woman of 55 years old. Woman couldn't successfully fight the fire and died due to carbon monoxide poisoning in Tamuin.
Around 11 forest fires are currently burning across San Luis Potosi. Forest fires in San Luis Potosi have burned 2,500 hectares and displaced more than 400 people.
Most of the displaced people are from Lagunillas and Huasteca region.
Following the news published by Xinhua quoting the secretary of the state cabinet, they would ask the federal government to declare a state of emergency regarding the forest fire in San Luis Potosi.

Forest fires are burning in Ciudad Valles, Lagunillas, Santa Catarina and Tamasopo Tamazunchale area. More than 500 fire fighters are struggling to control the blaze.
