-Heavy snowfall blocked all streets in Jordan's capital, Amman.

-An avalanche disaster on Vancouver Island injured 18-year-old skier. Four other skier were rescued immediately.
-The avalanche occurred near Moat and Circlet Lakesin the backcountry of Strathcona Provincial Park, outside the boundaries of Mount Washington Ski Resort.

Nepal seismological center mentions magnitude 5.5 in northern part of Bajura district. As earlier, NSC mentions different data (more magnitude) than international seismological agency. NSC is more reliable as it is local and has GPS station in Jumla (western Nepal, 67 km far from epicenter). - M 3.6 light shallow earthquake in Spain (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located just 7 km W Tabernas. It will have well felt by the people of Huércal de almerÃa and AlmerÃa.
07:27 UTC (local time 08:27; 2013/091/09 @ epicenter) - M 4.7 moderate shallow aftershocks in Southeastern Alaska (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 115 km W of Craig. People of Petersburg, Craig, Metlakatla and Ketchikan will have felt weak shaking of MMI III.

Update
Another magnitude 3.5 light earthquake hit Spain (@ 21 km depth) with epicenter located 6 km W of Montillana. It will have well felt by the people of Baeza, Monachil, Alcala la Real, Illora and Pinos Puente.
23:27 UTC (local time Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 12:27 AM @ epicenter) - M 5.8 moderate earthquake in Myanmar (@ 91 km depth) with epicenter located 59 km SE of Phek (India). People of Imphal, Thoubal, Yairipok, Kohima, Mayang Imphal, Phek and Dimapur will have felt light shaking of MMI IV. Tremor was felt in Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Meghalaya. - M 3.0 weak shallow earthquake in Northern California (@ 3 km depth) with epicenter located 7 km ESE from Kelseyville. It will have well felt by the people of Clearlake Oaks, Ukiah, Lower Lake and Kelseyville.

- The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch effective until Thursday morning across south central and southwest Louisiana. All St. Martin and St. Mary Parish public schools will be closed today due to fear of flash floods.
Recent Volcanic Activity
Erupting Volcanoes: Fuego, Santiago, Poas, Reventador, Nyiragongo, Ol Doniyo Lengai, Raung, Erta Ale, Paluweh, Gamalama, Batu Tara, Sakurajima, Manam, Ulawun, Tolbachik and Kilauea volcano.
- Ryukyu University professor, Masaki Kimura has warned that Mt Fuji may erupt by 2015. Mount Fuji, located on Honshu Island, is the highest mountain in Japan.
Masaki Kimura who is also a co-author of “Fujisan No Funka Wa Hajimatteiru!” (The Eruption of Mt Fuji Has Begun!), a book released in June last year, as well as author of 2011’s “Fujisan Dai Funka! Bukimina Itsutsu No Choko” (Mt Fuji’s Big Eruption! Five Eerie Signs) further says:
“Magma is rising from beneath Mt Fuji. Cracks in the crust have been growing. Some things hanging above have been falling. No one is pointing it out, but I think there is a possibility.”
Recent Tropical Cyclones
- Tropical Cyclone Narelle
-As of 06:00 UTC, TC Narelle was located 595 nm north-northeast of Learmonth, Australia.
-Australian Bureau of Meteorology has issued a cyclone watch for coastal areas from Whim Creek to Onslow. Narelle cyclone watch includes people in Whim Creek, Roebourne, Wickham, Dampier, Karratha, Mardie, Onslow and surrounding areas.
-Thunderstorm activity is expected to increase about the Pilbara coast on Friday.
-Cyclone Narelle is predicted to become a Category 4 storm before it reaches land.
